Scripture Nugget 10.13.2016

“A leper came to him begging him, and kneeling he said to him, ‘If you choose, you can make me clean.’ Moved with pity, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, and said to him, ‘I do choose. Be made clean!’ … ‘Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?’ When Jesus heard this, he said to them, ‘Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.’” Mark 1:40-42, 2:16b-17

How are you feeling? Is something not right with your soul, your spirit, your health, your emotions, your psyche? Invite Jesus to heal the problem. But know this, he will do so. So be serious about your desire for healing, for change/transformation because that is what Jesus came/comes to do. He calls to those who are not Christ-like to become like Christ. He reaches out, touches our lives and commands, “Be made clean”. Grace abounds, choose to be made clean! It’s God’s desire to clean you up, inside and out!
