Scripture Read Psalms 63-65

Nugget Psalm 65:9-13

“You visit the earth and water it, you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide the people with grain, for so you have prepared it. You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth. You crown the year with bounty; your wagon tacks overflow with richness. The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy, the meadows clothe themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy.”

Devotional Thought: “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10) Praise God from whom all blessings flow! How can those of us who believe in God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) not live a doxological life?! Why do we complain about that which we don’t have instead of realizing the abundant blessings bestowed upon us? When we turn inward, making ourselves the center we quit worshiping God who is the supreme center, high and lifted-up. Let us shout and sing together for joy – Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
